Children's Ministry

Children's Ministry

The Children’s Department at NSCN includes all kids ages nursery through 6th Grade. We offer Sunday school from September through June at 9:30 AM and Bible Adventure Week during the summer.

Under Three

Nursery care for children under three years old is available every Sunday during the entire worship service.

Ages 4 - 6th Grade

Kids age 4 through 6th grade are dismissed for Children’s Church after the morning offering with the exception of the first Sunday of the month. On the first Sunday of the month, kids remain upstairs to worship with the adults and to share in Holy Communion.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry program at NSCN reaches students from grades 7-12 through weekly, Bible-based lessons on Sundays.

Junior and Senior high students are challenged to apply their faith by serving in other church-based ministries such as music, teaching younger children, church work days, missions, and special events. Monthly social and missions activities help youth reach beyond our church into the community and the world to demonstrate the love of God.

For more information on our youth opportunities, please contact our Youth Director, Darcy Welch at jpwelch@comcast.net

Men's Ministry

Men's Ministry

Every man is invited to come and participate as God leads.

The Men’s Prayer Group meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 7:30 AM at Denny’s at 160th and Aurora Ave. for breakfast and fellowship. Afterward, they go to NSCN for an hour of prayer from 8:30 – 9:30 AM.

Every other month we sing at Washington Care Center in Seattle at Rainier and Walden. We meet at the church at 9:00 AM and carpool to the retirement center. We have been doing this for several years now and we do both secular music and hymns and the residents and staff appreciate our work.

Every October there is an annual Men’s Retreat at Camp Koinonia near Cle Elum, WA. We have a time of prayer and music worship together, which has been a healing and drawing near to God time for many men. This camp is comfortable and has excellent food and accommodations.

There are a couple of men's groups that meet on Tuesday nights at NSCN: Victorious Men's Group meets at 6:00 PM and Pure Desire (Conquer Series) runs periodically throughout the year and starts at 7:00 PM.

Please contact Justin Phillips mandjphillips@gmail.com if you are interested in attending or have any questions about the Men’s Ministry at NSCN.
